Symboticware Appoints New VP technology

Symboticware Inc., an industry leader of standardized information-based technology to enhance productivity, sustainability, profitability and safety through real-time data management solutions, announces the appointment of a new VP, Technology. Eric Robitaille brings nearly two decades of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on empowering and scaling high-performing, agile engineering teams to build industry-leading software solutions.

“As we position the company for rapid scale, Eric will lead our technology team through growth and evolution, continuing to strengthen the way we delivery solutions to our customers and enable our global partners,” said Kirk Petroski, President & CEO of Symboticware. “Eric has proven experience in transformational change within organizations, leading engineering best practices, agile development and moving from monolithic application development to micro-service oriented architecture.”

Robitaille steps into replace our VP, Technology, Marc Richard, who has accepted a position with Toromont CAT, bringing electrified mobile equipment to the mining sector. Richard’s contributions to our company are countless and his impact will continue to be a part of our foundation.
